Introduction of main course (Cancan Sun) :After we sat down, we began to order. According to the menu, each of us ordered a staple food with supplementary food. There were two main foods: steak and fish steak. People can also add mashed potatoes, lobster tails, cauliflower or asparagus on your own. Our choice was to add lobster tails, mashed potatoes and asparagus. When the main courses came up, we saw that their arrangement were very good. The steak was just below the plate, with lobster tails and mashed potatoes spread over the plate, it gave a pleasing feeling to our eyes. In addition, the fish steak was placed in the middle of the plate with some rice and asparagus as an embellishment. In addition to the main course, they accompanied the package with vegetables salad and soup. So on the whole, the quality of the dishes is pretty high. When it came to the palate, the medium-ripe steak was delicious and full in height. Mashed potatoes taste silky and melt at the entrance. The only drawback was that the lobster tail was delicious but somewhat salty. Fish steak was made of salmon. As salmon, it was both delicious and mild be cooked. Besides that, asparagus embellishment made salmon fat but not greasy. To sum up, it was worth the price to have a meal like that.

Introduction of liquor ( Song Tian):With the enhancement of our health awareness,we try to eat healthy,drink healthy,and the Bousquet organic chardonnay,made in Argentina,attracted my attention and made me good remembrance,well,I have to say,most of the organic food i have ever experienced,vegetables,fruits,they have a very universal commonality,that is a little bit drier than the common normal ones,so,it means,when it is related to the wines,if u like the taste of the dry,that would be perfect for you to experience it,actually we don’t know the reason for this,why the organic ones are always drier,but it is,it’s a provident of the wine this time,all the same,have a taste of dry,the price of per bottle is 35 bucks, normally in the middle of all the prices,but when it related to the quality you will find it cost-effective.Some of the taste of the wine are sore,and some are sweet,so according to this wine,its a mix of dry and sweet,tastes really good.It merged in ice in a small iron basket,the server will come to us time to time to make sure if we need more ice,and the service for this wine is a gentle handsome server well-dressed in suit always bring a white mocket in his hand,the first glass of the wine he would pour it into one of our cups and ask for if we can use to this taste,after we said yes,he poured it into everyone of our glass,and the small iron basket of ice kept it cool for us all the time until we finished and leave,to make sure the taste of the wine always in a good condition,so,after this trial,i fell in love with this organic wine,and searched for it everywhere,but,the liquor store which sells this kind of organic wine are not very common,we searched for a long time look for this Argentina wine,finally in one liquor store in Vancouver sells it,but only red wine,not this white wine and the price is just 6 bucks,we spent 35 dollars in the KEG,but we still find it deserves because of the environment and the service provided by this restaurant.

Introduction of dessert (Sylvia Hsu) :In KEG, they have provided a diversity dessert menu which including pie, cheesecake, brownie sundae and crème brûlée. They even have two sizes of the desserts that we can choose from, one is normal and the other is mini size. It is rarely seen in other restaurants and we found the idea of separate the sizes is absolutely thoughtful. It means KEG is not only think about how to make profit by making delicious cuisines, but also considers how customers would want and their needs. We had decided to order cheesecake with raspberry gem as the topper after straggled for over five minutes. The reason why we had dilemma is because we were worried about the sweetness of the cake would be too much for us. It turned out really good and we were worry about nothing. We tasted the richness of cream cheese and the sour of raspberry. Those two combined together were just beyond perfect. The fun part is we found out their cheesecake is the most popular item of the dessert department after we have done some research.

 

 

 Atmosphere and decor ( Song Tian) :The KEG is a franchise steak+bar restaurant, it has outlets spread over north America. we visited the one in downtown Vancouver, the center of the city, it located in the corner near the most popular shopping mall here,which was crowded day and night, inside a very busy crossing, black background with white logo,decent and obvious,when the first step you went into it, it was like a pub. Because of the lights were so dim there, it made people felt so relax and welcomed. The overall decoration of the restaurant was elegant. Leather sofas and brown-red tables made people feel warm. With the decorative paintings on the wall, the restaurant had an artistic flavor. The sweet smile on waiters’ faces and the well-dressed costume made people feel comfortable. People may felt that you have been treated very important, that was the most impressive impression for us to be memorized.

Service& Cleanliness ( Song Tian & Cancan Sun) :After we entered the restaurant, we looked around and found the whole restaurant spotless and clean as new. After that, there came a very decent gentleman who take care of our table. After reading the menu of dining out,we decided to choose some combo we were interested in. After ordered dishes, each of us went to the toilet and saw that the toilet was also very clean. The whole toilet was even filled with a faint smell of incense, and the paper and hand sanitizer were neatly arranged. Besides that, service provided by this gentleman never let us down, never been neglected and harmonious, no other forced indicated recommendation,very soft until the moment we left the restaurant, he had no intent to see the tips we paid, extremely gentlemanly, it was a good way to talk to us and listen. We had harmony chats back and forth a couple of times, all of us felt happiness.

Integration of modern food and beverage trends( Cancan Sun) :From our experience, the trends of modern food and beverage will become more and more diverse. Customers will not be limited to a certain number of people. As a result, they will be more demanding of food and beverage. Food should not only taste good, but also be exquisite. Drinks should not only finely made, but also give customers more choices.

Sustainability concerns& Anything else that is relevant we think should be included(Gem): It should be include the location near the town of the city or located at shopping mall that easy to attend. The proportion of price and quality are same value. The price of dishes as same as the service.
